In the 2050s, Earth finally succumbed to the pressures of human existence and life as we knew it changed forever. Those who survived were scattered to the far reaches of the globe in search of inhabitable land, and The Capitol was born.
A new beginning. Fearing we would repeat our mistakes, an advanced race of AI was developed to maintain balance and prudence. We named them: The Administration.
Under The Administration, our past lives of overindulgence were halted and for a while society prospered. But it didn’t take long before we began to be stripped of our human liberties, and as I write this today, we have reached a point of crisis.
The year is 2082. We are prisoners of our own creation.
The cold grip of The Administration has outlawed all dancing, singing and unnecessary social engagement associated with ‘the detrimental feelings associated with such fun’.
Today we say enough is enough.
To feel is our right. To party is our right, and we will party again. We say it’s time to get lively… to get noisy… and we’re going big.
Today a resistance against The Administration’s tyranny is born, under the banner of The Hand, and I implore you to join us.
We are the people. Join thousands of us as we reclaim our right to cut loose. For now, that’s all we can say.
